Pro Compact Estates is a U.S.-based tiny home builder delivering premium compact living solutions. With over 20 employees operating across two physical locations—spanning design, sales, manufacturing, and delivery—the company has carved out a growing niche in the residential construction market.

As demand for their product accelerated, so did the complexity of their technology footprint. What once ran on a handful of laptops and a shared inbox now included CRM platforms, project management tools, inventory systems, customer-facing web properties, and staff spread across multiple sites.

The Challenge

Before engaging AdVran, Pro Compact Estates faced a set of problems common to fast-growing small businesses in the construction and manufacturing space:

Website Hosting, Management & Development We moved procompactestates.com from a shared hosting plan to a managed, performance-optimized environment with SSL enforcement, automated backups, uptime monitoring, and a Web Application Firewall (WAF). We handle ongoing development, content updates, and performance optimization—ensuring the site performs as a sales asset, not a vulnerability.

Hardware Lifecycle We manage procurement, configuration, deployment, and eventual secure decommissioning of all company hardware. When a new employee starts, their fully configured workstation is ready on day one.

Managed Security Services (MSSP)

Security isn’t an add-on at AdVran—it’s woven into every layer of the IT stack we manage.

Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) Every workstation and server runs enterprise-grade EDR agents that continuously monitor for malicious activity, fileless attacks, ransomware behavior, and lateral movement. Detections are correlated and investigated by our security analysts—not auto-dismissed by a bot.

Managed Detection & Response (MDR) Our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) monitors Pro Compact Estates’ environment around the clock. Threat hunting isn’t a quarterly exercise—it’s continuous. Email Security & Hygiene This was one of the highest-impact deployments. We implemented a multi-layered email security stack that:

• Sanitizes links and attachments in real time—rewriting URLs through a safe-link gateway and detonating attachments in a sandbox before delivery
• Prevents spoofing with properly configured SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records

The result: over 1,200 malicious or suspicious emails blocked per month—emails that previously landed directly in employee inboxes.
