From Satellite Data to Security Tooling

Michael is a full-stack engineer who manages AdVran's internal infrastructure across local and cloud environments. He builds the applications, automations and self-hosted microservices that support teams across the organization, and manages the servers, domains and DNS underneath them. His responsibility continues after launch: he maintains, supports and documents each application so it stays dependable as the business grows.

He brings experience from satellite-related contract work for the California Air Resources Board, along with a background in computer science and AI.

Tools That Make the Work Easier

Since joining AdVran in June 2025, Michael has worked across its design, cybersecurity and development teams while managing a team of developers. He builds tools that simplify daily operations, from client portals and CRM integrations to automated reporting, security analysis and financial data processing. He also builds deployment pipelines with automated testing and verification, which cuts manual work and technical debt across applications and servers.

His security work includes Credential Sentinel, a platform for identifying exposed credentials and domain vulnerabilities, and AI integrations with SentinelOne that help analysts investigate threats and reduce false positives. He turns security findings into reports that show how risks change over time and what teams should address next.

Hands-On, From Build to Upkeep

Michael's approach is practical: understand how a team works, build something that makes the job easier, and take responsibility for keeping it running.
